Everyone goes through periods of feeling this way – but there’s a unique flavor to it when we’re sensitive. Because we feel more deeply than most people do, we tend to respond to feeling lost or stuck in one of two ways:
1. We withdraw. It’s all too easy for us to get caught up in a cycle where our lack of clarity leads to anxiety and overwhelm, which gets worse when we’re out in the hubbub of the world. So, we curl inward. We give less than our best at work. We make up excuses not to go out. We avoid connection, even with the people we love the most.
We tell ourselves that this physical and emotional withdraw is something we need (we’re introverts, after all). But deep down, we know the truth: we’re hiding. We’re shrinking away from our lives, our loved ones, and our potential, because it’s too scary to face the vulnerability of feeling like we’re lost at sea.
2. We pretend. Having been taught that our sensitivity is a liability, we decided long ago that in order to survive, we must lock that part of ourselves deep inside, put on a mask and full-body armor, and charge full-speed-ahead into a life of pretending to be someone we’re not.
While it might look like we’re happy and successful on the outside, the truth is that all this pretending is eating us up inside. In fact, we can hardly stand it anymore. We yearn to break free from our self-created cages and be who we authentically are in the world, but we’ve spent so long faking it that we have no idea where to start. So, we don’t start. Instead, we double-down on our pseudo-selves. Self-betrayal may not feel good, but at least we know what to expect.
I work with sensitive women and men who are tired of:
- Feeling like they’re floating aimlessly, without a clear direction
- Engaging in self-sabotaging behaviors as a way to numb the discomfort of not living authentically
- Putting others’ needs in front of their own in an effort to people-please their way into being good enough
- Feeling like a fraud or outsider no matter where they go
- Living a life that feels shallow and incomplete

You naturally start to take better care of yourself. People-pleasing as your main pathway to self-worth becomes a thing of the past. You stop feeling like a fraud and start to believe in yourself and in your potential. Life feels more fulfilling, and you touch a deep sense of inner peace and freedom.
By RESILIENT, I mean: with an emotional and spiritual emergency kit that won’t quit, so that you can feel tough feelings rather than numb them. As you build resiliency skills like presence, compassion, mindfulness, vulnerability, faith, and courage, the constant self-flagellation (and accompanying suffering) falls away. Everyday life becomes much more enjoyable, and you’re able to face adversity in healthy rather than self-destructive ways.

Initial 90-minute session
I’ll ask lots of questions to fill in the details of your life and where you’re feeling stuck. Then, we’ll dive right into the healing work as we start to shed light on the beliefs that are getting in your way. By session’s end, you’ll have a short list of action steps to begin integrating into your life.
Seven 60-minute sessions
As you get more rooted and resilient, your old conditioning will release its hold. You’ll reconnect with who you are and find a new sense of clarity and purpose.
Detailed follow-up emails
After every session, I'll send you an in-depth email that encapsulates our time together. You’ll never have to worry about remembering your action steps or what we talked about – and you’ll have a tangible record of your journey over time.
All sessions take place virtually
We meet via a very cool video-conferencing platform called Zoom. (Yay for no commute and the ability to show up in sweatpants!)
